Kakhi Solomnishvili is a Georgian conductor. He was born on May 9th, 1990, in Tbilisi, Georgia. His musical career began as a pianist, actively participating in concerts and festivals. In 2007, he passed exams at the Conducting faculty of Tbilisi State Conservatoire, where he graduated in 2013 with a Master's Degree. Alongside his studies, he received Opera and Symphonic Conducting lessons from Maestro Gianluca Marciano, who was the Principal Conductor at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre at that time.
In 2011, Kakhi Solomnishvili became the Assistant Conductor at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater. Since 2014, he has been the Conductor of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater. Starting from 2016, he has actively collaborated with the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra, becoming its Conductor in 2017. Since 2022, he has been actively collaborating with Teatro Colón and the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2017, Kakhi was honored with the "Tsinandali Award" in music. In 2021, he served as an assistant conductor at the "Tsinandali Festival." Since 2022, he has been assisting Maestro Charles Dutoit. He has worked with the Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic Orchestra, The Israel Sinfonietta Beer-Shava, as well as various festival and youth orchestras. His future collaborations include Teatro Colón, the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra.
